Centre for Eye Research Australia in the spotlight for Alzheimer Disease

There has been increasing evidence that changes can be seen in the retina in patients with Alzheimer's Disease. The Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA) published an article in Nature this week on the using retinal imaging as a potential biomarker for diagnosis and monitoring of patients with Alzheimer's disease using commercially available camera called the Metabolic Hyperspectral Retinal Camera (MHRC, Optina Diagnostics, Montreal, Canada).
